We design and engineer bespoke dairy and food‑process systems that maximise efficiency, reliability and product quality.

From upgrading existing plant to creating fully integrated, turnkey solutions, we blend deep industry expertise with practical, flexible engineering to deliver processes that perform flawlessly in demanding production environments.

Honest discussions with the customer to develop a meaningful and achievable scope

We work closely with the customer to discuss their objectives, their requirements, and their restrictions to put together a meaningful project scope. Our experience within the dairy industry can help to guide a customer towards a solution that will work for them.

System design from a basic plant to a full process line

Once we have an agreed scope of a project, we will design a system to comply with all of our customer needs. This can range from a inline simple filter bank to a full whey processing line. The package can include P&IDs, layout drawings, system schematics, functional descriptions, 3D representations, mass balance calculations, instrumentation specifications and various other associated documentation.

Hygienic system designs

All of our plants are built as hygienic systems. We follow industry standard guidelines to insure that every part of our system is designed, specified, installed and commissioned correctly. As part of any design, we make sure line diameters, product velocities, CIP velocities, correct instrument specifications, pipe joint types and the general installation are all suitable for the process.

Utility integration (steam/condensate, chilled water, compressed air)

Almost any part of a process system requires some sort of utility, be it water, chilled water, steam, compressed air etc. With all of our systems, we provide guidance on the required utility requirements. With unit costs provided, we can expand this estimated to daily, monthly, annual running costs.

Materials and component selection to food/hygienic standards

As with any hygienic plant, a vast amount of the equipment we install is Stainless steel 316. We insure any parts in contact with product or CIP chemical is 316 stainless steel. When it comes to electrical panels and instrumentation, we only use suitably rated IP enclosures and equipment throughout.

Validation processes

Once any equipment is installed, we undergo a number of on site performance tests to prove correct functionality and suitability for the application. We often have agreed performance criteria with the customer prior to the project to measure the success of any installation.

Comprehensive Handover Documentation

Once an installation is complete, we provide a full documentation package to include the following as relevant:

  • Process P&IDs for individual plant items and overall process lines
  • Layout/3D representations of plant
  • Equipment manuals to cover all instrumentation, pumps, valves etc.
  • As installed electrical drawings
  • Mechanical maintenance manuals
  • Recommended spare parts lists
  • Recommended maintenance routines
